Loan Process

We pride ourselves on being able to educate our customers about the lending process, which is why we keep you up to date about your loan as it happens.

We strive to have the loan process completed in 21 days or less from the date of the application to closing.

The following is the normal order of operation for the loan process:

  • Meet with your loan officer to review loan options and sign preliminary loan documentation.
  • For purchases, if applicable, inspections are ordered and completed.
  • Appraisal ordered by Zion Mortgage Solutions.
  • Once you sign preliminary loan documents, we will order the necessary documentation to submit your loan to our underwriter. (i.e. title, payoffs, etc.)
  • Your loan package is submitted to your underwriter.
  • Loan approval is received within 1-3 business days* from submission.
  • Once we receive the loan approval, your loan processor will call you to either set up closing or let you know if there is any additional documentation our underwriter needs.
  • Closing is scheduled for a day and time that is convenient for you.
  • Your loan officer will contact you normally the day before or the day of closing to go over the final details of your loan, so you know what to expect at the closing.
    *Underwriting times may vary depending on loan submission volume.
